Shah Rukh Khan to Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood stars wish Makar Sankranti, Pongal, Lohri

MUMBAI: Bollywood stars, cricketers, from Amitabh Bachchan to Sachin Tendulkar & Shah Rukh Khan to Virender Sehwag extended their wishes on Makar Sankranti, the kite-flying festival.

The celebrities took to Twitter to share the joy of the festivities with their fans.

Along with Makar Sankranti, celebrities also wished warm greetings for Lohri and Pongal.

Bachchan wrote, "Happy Lohri... 'lohri da takka de, rab thannu bachcha de'! groups asking for donations... In the 40-50's had heard them..."

Shah Rukh too wished his fans a happy Makar Sankranti and shared a clip of the song "Udi Udi Jaye", from his upcoming movie "Raees", in which he stars opposite Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.
