Shah Rukh Khan speaks on the surrogacy bill

Shah Rukh Khan was honest enough to admit that he was 'high on his birthday' since the last two days and hadn't been keeping abreast of the recent developments when he was asked to comment on the recent controversies surrounding commercial surrogacy and the consideration to ban it.

However, Shah Rukh had a very important point to make. He agreed that there was a need of regularisation on the procedure.

He said, "It should be regulated. When I was having my surrogate baby, I did a lot of study on it and realised that a lot of countries have regulated the procedure."

Shah Rukh further added, "I know the pleasure of having children and if there is any manner in which parents who are bereft of this joy are able to enjoy it, I am all for it."

Shah Rukh and Gauri's youngest child, AbRam, was born through surrogacy in May, 2013.
