Shah Rukh Khan reveals the secret to his age-defying looks at 59: 'Avoid eating more than two ...'
An old clip of Shah Rukh Khan has resurfaced, revealing his disciplined eating habits. He prefers simple meals like sprouts, grilled chicken, and broccoli, sticking to lunch and dinner only. While he maintains this routine when alone, he enjoys in...

Roughly eight years ago, during a conversation with RJ Devanggana, Shah Rukh offered fans a glimpse inside his late-night workout routine at his personal gym and discussed the kind of meals he has consistently followed over the years.
Explaining that he does not consciously follow any diet plan, Shah Rukh said, "I naturally lean towards very basic food. I stick to two main meals daily — lunch and dinner. Apart from these, I don’t snack or eat anything else. I’m not fond of lavish or elaborate dishes (mujhe pakwan pasand nahi). My meals usually include sprouts, grilled chicken, broccoli, and occasionally a small portion of dal. I’ve been eating like this every day for many years without much variation."
However, the superstar emphasized that this strict eating pattern applies only when he is by himself. Shah Rukh added that when he travels or visits friends and relatives, he happily adapts to whatever is available.
He said, "If I’m flying, or at someone’s home for a meal, I have whatever they graciously serve — whether it’s biryani, roti, parathas, food cooked with ghee, or a glass of lassi. I don’t restrict myself when it comes to sharing a meal with others."
Interestingly, Shah Rukh’s perspective on food and sleep didn’t change much when he spoke to The Guardian last year. During that interaction, he once again opened up about his unique lifestyle choices.
He remarked, "I usually head to bed around 5 AM. Just when Mark Wahlberg is waking up to start his day, I’m wrapping up mine. On shooting days, I wake up by 9 or 10 in the morning. After coming back home late at night — sometimes around 2 AM — I take a shower and get a workout in before I finally sleep." He reiterated that his decision to limit his meals is entirely his own and is not influenced by trends like intermittent fasting or structured diets.
