Responding to the question, the actor explained that he does not change the way he lives simply because media platforms or public reactions evolve.




He said that he continues to live his life in much the same way, whether that means supporting his favourite sports team, carrying his children at the airport or putting his best effort into a film.

However, Shah Rukh admitted that very few people actually know the real person behind the superstar. While he considers himself an open book, he pointed out that people can only know the chapters he has chosen to share. There are still several parts of his life that remain private.

For the actor, privacy is not simply about preventing people from taking photographs or keeping them away from his social media accounts. He explained that his deepest emotions are the real part of his life that he does not allow outsiders to access.

Shah Rukh went on to explain how he manages the contrast between being one of the world's most recognisable actors and living an ordinary family life. He described himself as a deeply emotional person who is also detached in certain ways, and said maintaining that balance is important to him.

According to the actor, having personal space is essential because his actual thoughts and feelings can be very different from the image people have created of him.

It is within this private space that his relationship with his children becomes particularly important. Shah Rukh revealed that when he is in his bedroom with his kids, he can simply be himself without worrying about his superstar identity.

He recalled being there in casual clothes, with his hair unstyled, and simply spending time with his children. For them, he said, he is their father and friend first. They are aware of his achievements and are proud of him, but his celebrity status does not define their relationship with him.

The actor also revealed a playful family dynamic around his famous name. At home, they do not talk about “Shah Rukh Khan” as though he is a separate, larger-than-life person. Instead, the family sometimes jokes about his superstar image just as much as other people do.

For Shah Rukh, this appears to be the key to maintaining a sense of normalcy despite living a life that is constantly under public attention. His bedroom, therefore, is not just a physical space but also a place where his identity as a father takes precedence over his identity as a superstar.
