Sendhil Ramamurthy returns to 'Heroes Reborn'
LOS ANGELES: Indian-origin actor Sendhil Ramamurthy has been confirmed to reprise his role of Dr Mohinder Suresh in "Heroes Reborn".

The 41-year-old star is up for a guest arc on NBC's upcoming event miniseries, reported Deadline.

Ramamurthy, who has starred in other shows like "Covert Affairs" and "The Office", made his Bollywood debut in 2011 with "Shor in the City".

Noah Bennet ( Jack Coleman), Hiro Nakamura ( Masi Oka), Matt Parkman ( Greg Grunberg) and The Haitian ( Jimmy Jean-Louis) are some of the other familiar faces who will also join "Heroes Reborn".

The new show also introduces a whole new group of gifted people played by actors including Zachary Levi, Kiki Sukezane, Ryan Guzman, Eve Harlow, Rya Kihlstedt and Robbie Kay.

"Covert Affairs" star Nazneen Contractor was previously cast as Farah, described as a mysterious character who is "militant, tough and stoic".
