Selena Gomez’s husband, record producer Benny Blanco, recently admitted that he and the Bad Liar singer hoped to start a family soon. In a chat with Jenna Bush Hager, the record producer admitted he looked forward to becoming a father someday. “Some of the negative things from my childhood are what helped me really get where I want to be and gave me the courage and bravery to do something different," Blanco said. "I'm not afraid. I mean, I of course want to be the best parent, the best partner. I'm excited when that day finally comes,” he added.

He also said that although he would make mistakes, he hopes he can teach future kids that it is okay to be wrong, not perfect, and to learn from your mistakes. “Failure in real life, that's what's going to make my kid; that's what's going to screw 'em up a little, but that's what's going to make them special. I do think it's important, because we all have those blemishes on our report card, but that's what makes it look so good when you did have that blemish, and then you're like, Now I have an 'A'," he explained.

Step Into Gomez’s Luxury Abode

Gomez and Blanco splurged a whopping $35 million on a mansion in Beverly Hills in December 2024, the very week they got engaged. As per a Reuters report, the mansion has seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. The property actually consists of two lots with a large main house and two distinct guesthouses, one of which has a home theatre and the other a studio.

The mansion has a Spain-inspired aesthetic and has a fitness centre, a pool, a glass greenhouse solarium, and a library. The home has elegant stone flooring around the pool and is surrounded by lovely landscaping.

In an off-market transaction, Gomez and Blanco bought the property through an LLC connected to the business manager of the music producer.

The property was last purchased for $30.7 million in August 2021.

Gomez recently showed off her home – she shared a sneak peek into blue cabinets in her kitchen and a rose coloured patio in her backyard.

As per a report by Quartz, the home was built in 1928, and the interior is 7,000 square feet.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Gomez is one of the world's youngest self-made female billionaires. Even though she became well-known as an actress and singer, a large portion of her fortune comes from her business, specifically from her cosmetics brand, Rare Beauty. Blanco, an 11-time Grammy nominee, is well-known for his songwriting partnerships with musicians including Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, and Katy Perry.
