Sehr gut! Beer it out with these heady Oktoberfest-inspired cocktails

Drinking has officially begun, with the start of the 184th Oktoberfest, which opened in Munich last week and will go on till 3rd October.

The German festival is now a worldwide phenomenon celebrating Bavarian culture and flowing pints of beer.

The Beer Café is all geared up to host beer lovers with its Oktobrewfest in Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, and Pune between September 16 and October 31.



And, just in case, you can't head to an outlet, here are some beer cocktails that you could treat yourself to, sitting at home.

Beer Rita

Ingredients

Triple Sec Syrup- 15ml

Tequila- 20ml

Lime Slices- 3

Method

15ml triple sec syrup

20 ml tequila

3 lime slices

Ice cubes

Blend for 30 seconds

Add light beer

Recipe

Build all the ingredients for 30 seconds & add light beer

Beer LIIT



Ingredients

Gin - 15 ml

Tequila - 15 ml

Pepsi - 30 ml

Vodka - 15 ml

Orange Juice - 15 ml

Cointreau - 15 ml

Rum - 15 ml

Cranberry Juice - 15 ml

Lime Juice - 20 ml

Beer Foam - Top up

Method

Take one chilled Collins glass and add the following ingredients :
15 ml gin
15 ml vodka
15 ml tequila
15 ml Cointreau
15 ml white rum
15 ml orange juice
15 ml cranberry juice
20 ml lime juice

Now add ice cubes to fill the glass and still well.

Add 30 ml Pepsi and top up with Hoegaarden froth.

For garnish, take orange thin slice and insert in drink.
