Scootsy co-founder Rishi Khiani's friendship mantra: Travel to reconnect

For Rishi Khiani, taking time out for buddies is a must, no matter how busy he is. The Scootsy cofounder's idea of the best way to reconnect with friends is travelling with them. When asked what was his favourite travel memory, pat came the response — a roadtrip to Salamanca, Spain.

What's more, he's heading there next year for a reunion with friends he made whille studying Spanish for a year in Spain. Khiani recalled the trip he took with them in an "oddly- shaped" car nicknamed the 'Hamster mobile'.

"It was my most memorable trip because of the bond I made with people from different cultures, brought together by our quest to learn some broken Spanish. I have stayed friends with most of them," recalls Khiani.

Reminiscing, Khiani said that the car could barely fit the five of them and they had to to stick their heads out of the car most of the time.

At one point, Khiani said he even tried convincing people that he was Native American leader Geronimo's great grand son. Clearly the trip was adventurous. And what happened to the hamster mobile? It was abandoned.
