SC pulls up State Governments, asks them to abide by the order
The Supreme Court today rejected the pleas of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh government seeking to ban the release of the movie 'Padmaavat' citing law and order problems. The apex court refused to modify the order clearing the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama. Adding that the movie will be released across the country, and it is the duty of the states to provide security.
