Satya Nadella is the world's most underrated CEO, followed by Jeff Bezos

He may be among the highest paid CEOs in the tech world and running a multi-billion dollar company, but the unassuming Satya Nadella has another tag associated with him — underrated. This comes from a business magazine’s survey of the world’s most over and underrated chiefs for 2017.

For the second year running, the Microsoft CEO has made it to the top of the list and this tag is courtesy of 4,000 respondents, including employees, directors and industry experts. These respondents volunteered names of under-touted chieftains and those with inflated reputations for the survey.

Nadella, with 185 votes, came out as the leader of the underrated pack followed by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, General Motor’s Mary Barra, JP Morgan’s Jamie Dimon and SpaceX’s Elon Musk. Funnily enough, Musk and Dimon both also feature among the most overrated CEOs on the list.
