Saregama launches Carvaan Shrimad Bhagavad Gita; Lata, Jagjit bhajans in playlist

One of India's oldest music labels Saregama - owned by RP Sanjiv Goenka (RP-SG) Group - has kept people entertained with its evergreen tunes for years. With the retro-looking music box Carvaan, that plays 5000 legendary songs, the label has managed to bring vintage Bollywood closer to the new generation.
After having tasted success with Carvaan - in December last year, the company celebrated its one million milestone within 16 months of its launch - Saregama has now decided to take the music experience into divine territory.
Recently, the music company introduced Carvaan Mini Shrimad Bhagavad Gita that comes pre-loaded with 18 Adhyays, 700 verses and over 100 Krishna Bhajans. The verses play in Sanskrit along with a translation in Hindi and have been recorded in the voice of Shailendra Bharti. Over 100 Krishna Bhajans in the box have been sung by Lata Mangeshkar, Hari Om Sharan, Jagjit Singh and Anup Jalota. It provides an uninterrupted playing session free from ad breaks or need for an internet connection.
The saffron-coloured mini box features a picture of the iconic moment when Arjuna seeks Krishna's advice during the 18-day battle of Kurukshetra as narrated in the Mahabharata.
The Carvaan Mini Shrimad Bhagavad Gita also comes with an FM/AM radio option that allows users to tune into local stations. Other features include Bluetooth, USB, Aux connectivity. With a decent battery life, it provides upto 4 hours of uninterrupted music. The music box has a comes 6 months warranty across India.
