Sara Ali Khan is Puma India's new face

The actress has signed a two-year partnership with the sportswear brand.

BENGALURU: German sportswear and lifestyle brand Puma India has named actor Sara Ali Khan as its new face. The two-year partnership will have the upcoming Bollywood actor promoting the 70-year-old brand’s women’s range alongside their sport-style and training business, the company said in a statement.

The association kicked off today with a brand activation in Mumbai with Khan spray-painting the brand’s signature campaign message– Do You – as graffiti on Carter Road.



Abhishek Ganguly, managing director for PUMA India, said, “Sara has a strong influence among the youth. Our women's category has been in big focus for us. This association will be lucrative.”

Puma had earlier appointed Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and boxing champion Mary Kom as its global brand ambassadors.

According to Forbes, the world's highest-paid cricketer's brand value is at $14.5 million (approximately Rs 105 crore) , which is higher than that of football icon Lionel Messi, golf superstar Rory McIlroy and Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry.
