Orry and Sara Ali Khan have unfollowed each other on social media
Dost, dost na raha. Once close friends, actress Sara Ali Khan and influencer Orry are reportedly no longer in talking terms with one another. Their apparent fallout has become a topic of online chatter after a series of social media actions hinted at growing friction. The situation escalated when Orry shared a video that many interpreted as a subtle insult directed at Sara, prompting both her and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan to remove him from their Instagram following lists. Rather than calming the speculation, Orry’s subsequent online remark has only added fuel to the ongoing gossip.

A Viral Trend Takes a Sharp Turn

The controversy gained momentum when Orry joined a trending reel inspired by content creator Amulya Rattan’s popular video addressing public behaviour and civic responsibility. In the original clip, Amulya confronted a man who walked too close behind her during filming, calling attention to personal space and basic etiquette. Orry recreated the scenario in his own flamboyant style, sporting a sheer blue mesh top featuring a dotted bra outline. While the outfit and performance were attention-grabbing, it was his interaction with followers that truly set social media buzzing.

A Comment That Sparked Backlash

Under the reel, a user posed a cheeky question about the outfit, asking what purpose the bra served. Orry’s response referenced Sara Ali Khan’s box office success in a sarcastic manner. The comment quickly spread across platforms, drawing criticism from many users who felt the remark crossed a line. What might have been intended as humour was perceived by several netizens as a personal jab at the actress, reigniting conversations about the strained bond between the two.

Earlier Signs of Tension

This was not the first instance that hinted at discord. Rumours of a rift began circulating earlier when Orry uploaded a reel listing what he described as the three worst names, naming Sara, Amrita, and Palak without any surnames. The omission did little to conceal the references, as Amrita Singh is Sara’s mother and Palak Tiwary is believed to be romantically linked to Ibrahim Ali Khan. Soon after the video surfaced, both Sara and Ibrahim unfollowed Orry, a move widely interpreted as a silent but telling response.

Orry’s Past Take on His Bond With Sara

Interestingly, Orry had previously spoken at length about his relationship with Sara during a Reddit Ask Me Anything session in 2023. He shared that the two were extremely close during their college years but grew apart soon after graduation. According to him, their paths unexpectedly aligned again during the lockdown period, when they became inseparable and frequently spotted together. However, life took them in different directions once more when Orry moved abroad for farming while Sara stayed back to focus on her acting career. Upon reuniting later, he felt they had evolved into individuals with different priorities and mindsets, though he maintained that mutual affection and respect still existed between them.

His Views on Sara and Ibrahim

During the same interaction, Orry strongly defended Sara’s dedication to her profession. He emphasized that acting was not a casual pursuit for her but a deep-rooted passion that dominated her life. He portrayed her as a committed professional who did not make career choices to satisfy anyone else, drawing parallels between her independence and that of her mother. He also shared a light-hearted take on Ibrahim Ali Khan, praising his striking looks while jokingly calling him irritating, though clearly in an affectionate tone.
