Sanjay Dutt says taking a short break from work for medical treatment, urges fans to not speculate

A day after being discharged from the hospital where he was admitted after complaints of breathlessness, actor Sanjay Dutt has said that he will be taking a "short break from work" due to some medical treatment.

The 61-year-old actor, who was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital over the weekend, requested well-wishers not to worry or speculate.

Sharing his decision in a tweet, Dutt said that he would be "back soon".



The actor's statement comes amid the speculation around the reason for his hospitalisation.

The eldest child of late Bollywood stars Nargis and Sunil Dutt, the actor is currently awaiting the release of 'Sadak 2' and 'Bhuj: The Pride of India', which will premiere on Disney+Hotstar.

He will also star in the second installment of 'KGF' and 'Shamshera', alongside Ranbir Kapoor.
