Sanjay Dutt receives golden visa for UAE, calls Dubai his home
Last year, the actor and his wife Maanayata travelled to Dubai to be with their twin sons.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was thrilled to receive a golden visa for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday.
Sharing the news on Twitter, the 61-year-old actor said that he was honoured to receive the prestigious visa "in the presence of Major General Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) - Dubai". He also thanked the UAE Government and Hamad Obaidalla, COO of flydubai for support.
In a statement to news agency IANS, Dutt mentioned that Dubai became a home for his family in the past year. After he completed his treatment, the actor along with his producer-wife Maanayata travelled to Dubai to be with their 10-year-old twin sons - Shahraan and Iqra.
The 'Sadak' star also said that the golden visa initiative is truly visionary, which has helped the country grow as an investor-friendly nation. "I vow to help the country whenever they are in need since that's what our true purpose as humans is, to help each other grow," Dutt wrote.

According to Khaleej Times, in 2019, the UAE government had introduced the Golden Visa initiative for long-term residents to encourage foreigners to work, live, study and conduct business in the country without requiring national sponsors. Through this initiative, foreign investors and businessmen get a complete ownership of their businesses in the country. These golden visas are issued for five or 10 years, which automatically get renewed.

Incidentally, Dutt has a huge fan base in the Middle East.
On the work front, he will be seen in his upcoming films - 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India', 'KGF: Chapter 2', 'Prithviraj' and 'Shamshera'.
