Samsung testing bigger, better camera setup for Galaxy Z Flip 6, smartphone might sport 50 MP lens
Samsung is reportedly testing a newer version of its flip phone called the Galaxy Z Flip 6 with a 50MP camera. The Galaxy Z Flip 5, launched a few weeks ago, has only a 12MP camera.

According to GSM Arena, reports from the Dutch outlet Galaxy Club suggest that Samsung is testing a new phone called the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
One of the versions they're trying out has a mega 50MP camera. That's a big step up from the current Galaxy Z Flip 5, which only has a 12MP camera.
If this rumour is true, it's like going from a small toy camera to a professional photographer's camera.
Insiders say this new phone's code name is 'B6', while another phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, goes by 'Q6'. However, these phones won't actually hit the stores for about a year. So, there's still plenty of time for things to change.
Presently, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 boasts a dual-camera setup at its rear, encompassing two 12MP sensors coupled with a wide and a 123-degree ultra wide lens.
The main camera is equipped with dual-pixel phase detection autofocus and optical image stabilisation. Internally, the device features a 12MP sensor for capturing selfies, while its primary camera is capable of recording videos at resolutions up to 4K and a fluid 60 frames per second.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5, which comes powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, is distinguished by its 3.4-inch AMOLED screen on the cover and a larger 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display on the inside. This device's price point in India begins at Rs 99,999.
