Samsung launches the first wireless mobile charging PC monitor
We all hate the clutter of unnecessary cables and ports at our workstations. Don't fret. Samsung now has a PC monitor that comes with an integrated wireless charging function for mobile devices — the new SE370.

The new monitor may not surprise you with its resolution (1920×1080) and other specs, but what's happening beneath the panel is interesting: the base of the monitor flaunts a wireless charging station. It works with all mobile devices that use the Qi wireless charging standard. All you need to do is, place your device on the stand's charging area to initiate automatic charging, which is confirmed by an LED light.

"Through the integration of wireless mobile charging technology, our innovative SE370 monitor dramatically improves efficiency, convenience and connectivity at home and at work," said Seok-gi Kim, senior vicepresident, Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, in a statement. He adds that SE370 will eliminate the hassle of having to purchase and keep separate charging kits, saving cost and improving workspace utilisation. The SE370 is expected to hit the market sometime later this year.
