Samsung has unveiled its latest flagship foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, at its highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event. This event, known for stirring excitement within the tech community, showcased not only the Galaxy Z Fold 6 but also the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and other innovations.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 Design and Display

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 retains Samsung's signature foldable design, with slight refinements in aesthetics. It features a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display and a 6.3-inch outer display, both offering vibrant visuals. The aspect ratio has been adjusted to enhance usability, with the outer display now wider and more practical for daily use. The device measures 5.6mm unfolded and 12.1mm folded, featuring a lightweight Titanium frame.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 promises robust performance and efficiency. Its 4400mAh battery ensures all-day usage, maintaining stamina comparable to its predecessor.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 boasts an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance, an Armor Aluminium frame, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for durability. It supports the S-Pen, enhancing productivity and creativity for users.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 Price and Availability

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has seen a price increase, with the base model now costing Rs 1,64,999. The 12 GB + 512 GB variant is priced at $1,999, and the 12 GB + 1 TB variant at $2,099. Preorders are currently open on Samsung's website, with shipping starting on July 24, 2024.
