Samsung looks to strike a balance when it comes to its audio products. The company mostly aims to hit the sweet spot between features, pricing and performance. That’s the case with Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro as well. Priced at Rs 16,990, the earbuds middles the price bracket of being an expensive earbud or rather being a really affordable option.
What does this price bring to the table and how do Samsung’s latest ANC earbuds perform and stand to the claims made by the company?
For starters, the Galaxy Buds Pro features a new design compared to the Buds Live. The case though is somewhat similar to its predecessor. It’s subtle and easy to carry.
Coming to the Buds Pro design, it's small and light and is glossy on the outside and matte from the sides. The earbuds look premium and also sit comfortably in ears without making its presence felt.
In terms of audio quality, the Buds Pro sports two AKG-tuned drivers, an 11mm woofer for better bass output and a 6.5mm tweeter for treble and mids. We have to admit that this is among the best-sounding true wireless earphones in this price range. The sound quality is crisp and clear and it remains that way for almost any genre of song. Bass is also well pronounced and it plays along well with mids and highs.

Our callers never complained about voice quality during the calls and it seems that Galaxy Buds Pro also’s three microphones and a Voice Pickup Unit does an excellent job.
The major highlight is the Active Noise Cancellation on these earbuds and in our test, it does a really good job of keeping the noise and distractions out of the way. Plus, it also comes with ambient sound mode. The auto ambient mode feature also worked fine for us.
We also tested the auto-switch feature of the earbuds and it’s fast and responsive and worked almost every time. The Dolby Head Tracking feature also worked as described by the company.
With all these tech and features, the Galaxy Buds easily managed to last around 4.5 hours with ANC turned on and it’s pretty impressive.
