Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) launched in India: Price, specs and availability

Samsung launched its first smartphone for 2018 in India - the Galaxy A8+ (2018) - on Wednesday.

The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7885 processor.

The device features dual front cameras, a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture accompanied by an 8-megapixel camera.


The Galaxy A8+ (2018) runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and comes with 64GB storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back, and the phone also sports face recognition feature. It has a 3500mAh battery with fast charging support.

The phone also comes with Bixby and Samsung Pay.

Priced at Rs. 32,990 with a water-dust resistant body, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) will go on sale from January 20 exclusively on Amazon.
