Samsung Galaxy A26 launched in India: Check prices, features and availability

Samsung recently launched its latest Galaxy A26 smartphone alongside the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 models. While the company initially withheld the pricing and availability details, it has now revealed that the Galaxy A26 will be available starting at Rs 24,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, with the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model priced at Rs 27,999. As part of the launch offer, customers can avail a discount of Rs 2,000 on HDFC and SBI credit cards, bringing the price of the base model down to Rs 22,999. The phone is available in four colors: Awesome Black, Awesome Mint, Awesome White, and Awesome Peach.

The Galaxy A26 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ coating. It is powered by the Exynos 1380 octa-core processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. The device runs on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 and supports six OS updates and security patches for up to six years.

In terms of photography, the Galaxy A26 boasts a 50MP primary rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there’s a 13MP front camera. The phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP67 water and dust resistance, and 5G connectivity. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A26 is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, making it a well-rounded option in the Rs 25,000 price segment.
