Sameer Kulavoor receives a warm note of acknowledgement from Paul Smith

Visual artist and illustrator, Sameer Kulavoor, who recently collaborated with British designer Paul Smith for a range of T-shirts, received a warm note of acknowledgement from Smith.

Kulavoor's Ghoda Cycle Project, that captures the many avatars of the humble two-wheeler in the city, has found pride of place in Smith's collection. The designer has autographed a copy of his book, Hello, My Name is Paul Smith, for Kulavoor.

The tome celebrates 40 years of Smith, with insightful stories about the fashion industry and is considered a collector's item. What makes the gift even more valuable is Smith's little sketch of a man on a bicycle.
