Samantha Ruth Prabhu reveals secret to her happy marriage with ‘pretty cool’ husband Raj Nidimoru: ‘99% of the time I listen to him…’

What’s Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s secret to a happy marriage? Listen to your husband most of the time. The actress’s fans need not be alarmed; she was merely describing how reliable and pragmatic she found her husband to be, despite being a showbiz veteran. In an interview with Galatta Plus, the Maa Inti Bangaaram star, who is married to director-producer Raj Nidomoru, opened up about her equation with her husband. The Yeh Maya Chesave actress said that their relationship was based on mutual trust, as every decision – from creative decisions to making a single Instagram post – was a joint decision. The actress explained: “I bounce ideas off him, as he has such a real perspective on things, even though this industry can put you in a bubble.” The actress jokingly added, "He is so in touch with reality that I listen to him 99 per cent of the time…. It’s pretty cool to have that kind of partner at home.”

She also recalled how her hit ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’ was also her husband’s “baby.” Samantha revealed that her husband played an extensive role in the film’s creation, contributing throughout the entire process. His involvement began with the screenplay and continued with his daily presence on the sets during filming. He also remained closely involved during post-production, overseeing various aspects, including the sound, audio mixing, and music.

Maa Inti Bangaaram is a 2026 Indian Telugu-language action comedy drama film conceived by Raj Nidimoru, directed by B. V. Nandini Reddy and produced by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Raj Nidimoru and Himank Duvvuru under Tralala Moving Pictures. Samantha, Gulshan Devaiah, and Diganth Manchale play the main parts in the movie.


Santhosh Narayanan wrote the soundtrack for the movie, Om Prakash handled the photography, and Dharmendra Kakarala handled the editing. The movie was a huge box office hit when it was released on June 19, 2026. Maa Inti Bangaaram has officially surpassed Rudhramadevi to become the highest-grossing Telugu film starring a woman. As per reports, the film earned over Rs 100 crore at the box-office.

Samantha married Raj Nidimoru in December 2025 at Sadhguru’s Isha Yoga Centre, inside the Ling Bhairavi Temple.

Samantha soft-launched her relationship with Raj in 2024 through an Instagram post. Pictures of the couple enjoying cosy moments rapidly went viral, sparking conversations about their relationship status. Despite keeping their distance from the public, the two are frequently seen together at events and on social media.

Samantha was previously wed to actor Naga Chaitanya. The couple declared their split in 2021 after getting married in 2017. Actor Sobhita Dhulipala and Chaitanya later started dating, and they were married in December 2023.

Samantha is currently expecting her first child. Before Maa Inti Bangaram, Samantha had collaborated professionally with Raj on the thriller series The Family Man and the spy action TV series Citadel: Honey Bunny.
