Samantha Ruth Prabhu reacts to a marriage proposal she got amid Naga Chaitanya-Sobhita Dhulipala engagement

While her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya is happily engaged to his current sweetheart, ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ star Shobhita Dhulipala, ‘Yasoda’ actress is being inundated with marriage proposals.

A video of a fan professing his love for Samantha has gone viral on the Internet. On August 9, just a day after Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged, an Instagram user posted a reel on his social media.

In the video, he humorously showed himself packing his bags and heading to Samantha's house to propose to her. The video was set against the backdrop of a virtual gym, where he stood and humorously expressed that he would be financially stable in a few years, suggesting that they would make a great couple.


The video was captioned, “On my way to Samantha to tell her that she does not need to worry because I’m always going to be there for her.” The fan also went down on one knee to propose to the ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ actress. Sharing the video, the influencer wrote, "You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take!"

The clip went viral on the image and video sharing platform, gaining more than 455K likes.

Samantha, known for her love of fitness, noticed the gym in the background of the video and responded, "The gym behind you almost had me convinced."

Many of Samantha's followers even praised the influencer, calling him a "green flag" for her. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya married in 2017 but separated in 2021. The following year, Samantha shared that she had been diagnosed with the autoimmune condition myositis. After taking a break from her career, she is now preparing for her return to the action series "Citadel: Honey Bunny" alongside Varun Dhawan.
