Sri Kalpam, another name for Kalaa Aavarana, is a unique ceremonial activity that has its roots in the Srividya spiritual tradition. Through the seven energy centers connected to the pregnant mother, the ceremony honours the 94 kalas, which stand for the various sacred qualities and incarnations of the Goddess. The actres explained that what really moved her was how the mother was seen as a sacred manifestation of the devi herself, as a creator through whom another life is taking form. “It is a blessing for the child growing within her and also for the woman who is being born into a new version of herself,” she wrote.A Holy Protection Before Birth
The actress noted how the future mother is seated in the Sri Chakra Yantram's sacred centre following the abhishekam. This ceremony consists of nine aavaranas which is a metaphor for various phases of the spiritual journey. The bindu, a single point that represents the origin of creation and Lalita Tripurasundari's blessings, is placed at the core... The names of the gods and celestial energies connected to these nine enclosures are sung during the Devi Khadgamaala recitation.
