Samantha Prabhu deletes all wedding pics from Instagram; some Chaitanya-related posts stay on Twitter

Days after her rejuvenating trips to Uttarakhand in India and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Telugu actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu finally deleted her wedding pictures and adorable love-posts to husband Naga Chaitanya from Instagram.

While Chaitanya-related posts were deleted from Instagram, the posts of birthday wishes and profile picture change updates of the couple's wedding day are still on the actress' Twitter handle. Prabhu is more active on Instagram than Twitter.

On the other hand, the wedding posts and regular updates with Prabhu continue to stay on Chaitanya's Twitter and Instagram account. The 34-year-old actor isn't much active on either of the platforms.




On their respective social media handles, the soon-to-be-divorced couple posted that they will continue to stay friends, but have decided to pursue their own paths.

Earlier, grieved by the rumours circulating about her marriage, Prabhu said that divorce is "an extremely painful process", but the "relentless personal attacks" have made it more difficult. "I promise you this, I will never allow this or anything else they say, break me," she wrote.


To deal with the break-up blues, the 'Family Man 2' star is currently busy travelling. After completing her two-day Char Dham Yatra, she is exploring Dubai.

Prabhu has 19.2 million followers on Instagram and 9 million followers on Twitter, while Chaitanya has 4.7 million followers on Instagram and 2.3 million followers on Twitter.

Four years ago, the fairytale love story took a heartbreaking turn when the two decided to end their marriage on October 2, five days before their wedding anniversary.

Chay-Sam met on the sets of Gautham Menon's iconic 2010 Telugu film 'Ye Maaya Chesave', and started dating soon after. After dating for eight years, they got engaged in January 2017 and tied the knot in October the same year.

As performers, the couple had featured together in three more films - 'Manam', 'Autonagar Surya' and 'Majili'.
