MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's building, Galaxy Apartments, was bound by a bevy of stars who visited him throughout Wednesday . These celebrities came out to offer their sympathy and express solidarity with the superstar who was convicted of culpable homicide on Wednesday, before being granted interim bail by the high court.
Starting early in the afternoon, Salman was visited by MNS chief Raj Thackeray , director Karan Johar, MLA Nitesh Narayan Rane, and actor Aamir Khan, who stayed for nearly two hours, leaving Salman with a warm hug.

Other visitors from the film fraternity included Govinda, Anu Malik, Raveena Tandon, Sonakshi Sinha, Minissha Lamba, Ameesha Patel, Sangeeta Bijlani, Mohnish Behl, Sanjay Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Kareena and Karishma Kapoor.

This star-studded line-up endured the crush of frenzied fans and curious onlookers who thronged outside Salman's building in the hope of glimpsing some of their favourite celluloid personalities. Approaching cars had to muscle through these thickening crowds, and traffic police and security were consequently beefed up in the area. Many celebrities expressed their solidarity with Khan on Twitter, while others came to see him soon after his return home from court late Wednesday .

These include Shahrukh Khan, brothers Arbaaz and Sohail Khan, Rani Mukherji, Bipasha Basu, Sonu Sood, Pulkit Samrat, Suniel Shetty and Atul Agnihotri.
