Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's long-time bodyguard, Shera, has made headlines after purchasing a brand-new Range Rover Sport, a luxury vehicle priced at approximately Rs 1.4 crore. Shera, whose real name is Gurmeet Singh Jolly, shared the news with his followers on Instagram, posting a picture of himself standing proudly beside the sleek black SUV. In the caption, he expressed his gratitude, writing, "With the blessings of the almighty, we welcome the new member in the house," accompanied by folded hands and car emojis.

Salman Khan's Loyal Protector For Three Decades

Shera has been by Salman Khan's side for nearly three decades, offering unwavering protection and loyalty. His close association with the actor has made him a well-known figure in Bollywood circles. Despite his own fame and the success of his security firm, Tiger Security, Shera continues to remain dedicated to his role as Salman Khan's protector.

The Instagram post, which quickly garnered attention, saw many of Shera's fans and industry colleagues congratulating him on his new purchase. Rakhi Sawant was among those who commented, "Congratulations." Another user humorously remarked, "Shera bhaii mujhe bhi aap apna bodyguard rakhlo. Shera's Journey From Bodybuilding to Bollywood

Shera's journey in the security business began in the early 1990s when he was invited by Andre Timmins of Wizcraft to provide protection for Bollywood celebrities. His first encounter with Salman Khan occurred in 1995 at a party for Hollywood star Keanu Reeves. A chaotic incident at a show in Chandigarh soon after led Salman Khan's brother, Sohail Khan, to hire Shera as the actor's personal bodyguard. Since then, Shera has been a constant presence in Salman Khan's life, accompanying him on international tours and ensuring his safety at all times.

In addition to his duties as a bodyguard, Shera has also ventured into the political arena, joining the Shiv Sena in October 2019. Despite these pursuits, his loyalty to Salman Khan remains unwavering. In various interviews, Shera has expressed his deep bond with the actor, saying, "Jab tak zinda hoon, bhai ke saath rahunga" (As long as I am alive, I will stay with Salman brother). He also affectionately refers to Salman as "Maalik," meaning master, and has stated, "Salman Maalik is everything to me. I will lay down my life for him. He is my god."
