Salman Khan makes first public appearance after dengue scare, attends brother-in-law Ayush Sharma's birthday bash

No one, not even dengue, can keep a certain ‘bhai’ down for long. Bollywood Salman Khan who was reported to be diagnosed with dengue last week, was seen having a gala time at the birthday bash of his brother-in-law, actor Ayush Sharma.
The ‘Wanted’ star made a grand entry at the party on Tuesday. He looked perfectly hale and hearty. The superstar chatted amicably with guests and even posed for the paparazzi and fans who were waiting outside the venue with bated breath for a glimpse. Khan posed candidly for the paparazzi. Khan, who has been hosting reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’ since 2010, had to take a break due to health conditions. In his place, director-producer Karan Johar who hosted the first season of Bigg Boss OTT, was roped in as a substitute to host the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episodes.
Johar, who hosted two episodes (October 22 and October 23) was denounced for being ‘biased’ by the audience. The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director was seen shouting at Gori Nagori for fighting with actress-politician Archana Gautam. He also called housemates Gautam Singh Vig and Soundarya Sharma’s romance as "fake".
Netizens were unhappy with Johar’s unprofessional behaviour and took to Twitter to voice their opinion. They also demanded that Khan return to the show. One tweet read, “I don't care if someone agrees or not but Karan Johar was biased in WKV #BiggBoss". Another social media user wrote, "Karan Johar is so biased on #WeekendKaVaar and it is clearly seen @ColorsTV!! He justifies the poor behaviour of certain contestants and doesn't let other contestants speak.. very one-sided!! Hence proven again that no one can host #BB16 like Salman Khan!!".

On the work front, Khan is looking forward to a rather exciting line-up of films. He will be reuniting with Katrina Kaif for ‘Tiger 3’. The Maneesh Sharma-directorial is all set to hit the theatres on Diwali 2023. He will also be starring in the action comedy ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jan’. The Farhad Samji-directorial promises a stellar cast that includes Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Siddharth Nigam and others. The film is scheduled to release on Eid 2023.
