After the setback of Prabhas starrer 'Adipurush,' fans eagerly awaited the release of 'Salaar,' and their anticipation was met with resounding success. Estimates from Sacnik.com indicate that the film earned an impressive Rs 95 crore on its opening day, asserting its dominance in the domestic market.The film's stronghold was particularly evident in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where it amassed a staggering Rs 70 crore, showcasing an overall occupancy of 88.93 per cent in Telugu regions. Additionally, 'Salaar' performed commendably in Karnataka and Kerala, raking in Rs 12 crore and Rs 5 crore, respectively, on its opening day.
Trade expert Manobala Vijayabalan highlights the global triumph of 'Salaar,' stating, "BIGGEST WW opening of the year 2023 belongs to #Salaar. #SalaarCeaseFire exceeds all early estimates and now heading above Rs 175 crore."
