Saiyaara not only broke records at the box office and revived Bollywood romantic movies, but also brought back Mohit Suri’s charm and introduced two newcomers to the limelight, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The film released in theatres on July 18 and has been making noise for all the right reasons ever since. While Ahaan was already familiar in the industry because of his family background, Aneet was mostly unknown until a few years ago. The success of the film has now brought her some well-deserved attention. Recently, a picture of her has gone viral on the internet.

Aneet Padda shows new way to wear glasses


On Monday (August 4), Aneet took to Instagram and dropped a picture of her wearing spectacles but in a different way. Sharing the picture, she captioned, "Bought new glasses only to wear them like this at all times." The picture quickly went viral, capturing hearts across the internet for a very unique reason, the way she wears her spectacles.

For the unversed, Aneet Padda was born in a middle-class family in Punjab and grew up there before moving to Delhi for further studies. She started acting in 2022 with a small role in the movie Salaam Venky. She got her big break in 2024 when she played the lead role in the Amazon Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry. Saiyaara was her first film as a lead actress.

Meanwhile, coming back to the film, Saiyaara is reportedly all set to stream on Netflix and it's the film YRF movie to stream on this OTT platform. Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara crossed 300 crore mark at the box office, achieving this milestone in just 17 days. The film’s success isn’t just from fans, celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan, Mahesh Babu, Arjun Kapoor, Ameesha Patel, Siddharth Anand, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Karan Johar, Anurag Basu, and Anil Kapoor have all praised the film.

The film is currently running in theatres.
