Saiyaara OTT to be released on Netflix: When to watch Aneet Padda, Ahaan Panday film

There’s one movie that has been on everybody’s mind ever since its release, Saiyaara. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film features two debutants, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda and has broken several box office records. After creating waves, the romantic drama Saiyaara is now to make its digital debut on Netflix.

The film, which features newcomers, has quickly become a cultural and commercial phenomenon, emerging as the highest-grossing love story in Indian cinema history. As per a recent News18 report, the film will stream on Netflix, although no official OTT release date has been confirmed yet. It further reported that the platform and the film’s producers are aiming for a Diwali 2025 release. The move to delay the digital drop comes as Saiyaara continues its strong theatrical performance. Within just few weeks of its release, the film has minted Rs 500 crore at the box office and surpassed Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat.



Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara follows the emotional journey of Krish Kapoor, a troubled musician, and Vaani Batra, a reserved poet. The story explores their intertwined paths of love, heartbreak, and healing, set against a backdrop of soulful music and evocative visuals. The film has struck a chord with audiences across age groups, drawing both box office success and fanfare.


Both debut actors have earned acclaim for their roles. Ahaan Panday’s performance was noted for its range, from edgy charisma to heartfelt vulnerability, while Aneet Padda stood out for her screen presence and emotional subtlety.

Talking about its box office performance, Mohit Suri’s directorial venture Saiyaara was released on July 18 and had a strong opening weekend with Rs 83 crore, as per Sacnilk. It went on to collect Rs 172.75 crore in its first week and Rs 107.75 crore in its second, maintaining a solid run through its third weekend. The film’s earnings grew by 41.11 per cent on August 2. It has finally crossed Rs 500 crore worldwide. With this strong performance, Saiyaara is one of the top-grossing Hindi films of 2025.

As per the early estimates by Sacknilk.com, the film minted Rs 3.75 crore on day 24. Now, the total collection stands at Rs 318 crore in the domestic market. Saiyaara will soon cross Rs 320 crore mark.
