Saiyaara movie tickets could cost less than your auto fare with producer opting for special weekday discounted offer
Saiyaara, a film featuring debutants Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda, has achieved remarkable success, grossing ₹83 crore in its opening week. Yash Raj Films strategically implemented weekday discounts to boost audience engagement, resulting in high ...

This weekday discount initiative, launched in April, allows theatres to offer movie tickets at significantly reduced prices—₹99, ₹149, or ₹199. While several major releases chose to skip this option, YRF has decided to embraced it, making Saiyaara even more accessible to viewers across India.
This means a high-quality theatrical experience at a wallet-friendly price—particularly attractive to students, couples, and young professionals who often shy away from weekend crowds and expensive tickets.
Box office platforms report a strong response to Saiyaara even on Monday, a typically sluggish day for cinemas. In some cities like Jaipur, they reported nearly 50% occupancy in Monday early morning shows—a rarity post-pandemic.
This kind of Monday buzz, especially for a film starring two debut actors, hasn’t been witnessed in years. Industry veteran Taran Adarsh even called the film a turning point for the theatrical business in 2025. In a market that’s seen both hits and misses, Saiyaara has brought back confidence to distributors and theatre owners, proving that the right story—paired with sensible budgeting and pricing—can still draw massive crowds, he said.
Even industry stalwarts have taken note. Legendary filmmaker Subhash Ghai praised the film on social media, stating that its success is a reminder to producers not to overinvest in stars or unnecessary marketing. He emphasized that a strong, emotional story with the right casting is more than enough to win hearts—and box office numbers—across India.
With no big stars, modest marketing, and debutant leads, Saiyaara relied on solid storytelling and good music to draw in crowds.
