Yes, you read it right! During the conversation with The Hollywood Reporter Ahaan Panday opened up about stardom, Saiyaara success and everything in between. While talking about the film, he also shared his Hindu name and it has a filmy connection. Ahaan shared that his sister’s Alanna Panday's Hindu name is Chandni, inspired by the classic film Chandni, while his own is Yash, both names shows their family’s love for all things filmy and their admiration for Yash Raj Films.Going forward, Ahaan also explained the reason behind his former Instagram persona, which Mohit Suri called him as 'cringe Tiktoker'. He admitted that the version of himself he portrayed online wasn’t authentic, but rather he 'adopted a personality' to attract attention from the film industry in hopes of landing roles. Speaking about his role as Krish, Ahaan said it was a surprising departure from the kind of upbeat, relatable characters he usually auditioned for.
