Saffronart's Weihe believes personal issues won't affect value of Chintan Upadhyay's art
“The painting has come from a private collection in India. It’s beautiful with certain aspects from miniature paintings. I am not sure if the personal complications around him right now will play that much of a role in assessing his work. It may (impact value) but it might even increase interest. We will have to see. Generally, people look at the works of the artist or they may have heard about some artists. I don’t see it (personal controversy) will necessarily have a negative effect.”.
