Arrabbiata or Alfredo, penne or spiral; pasta is every form is to be loved. Over the years, this Italian treat has successfully occupied an important place on our plates and of course in our hearts.
To honour the dish, October 25 is celebrated as World Pasta Day.
And if you're a fan, any excuse is good enough to dig into a bowl of rich and creamy pasta. So this World Pasta Day, give this easy-to-make Saffron Gnocchi Pasta recipe by chef Sejal Shah a shot.

Ingredients:

All purpose flour: 100 gm Butter: 35 gm Milk: 200 ml A pinch of saffron Salt to taste White pepper powder: 1/4 tsp Zucchini green sauteed in butter: 30 gm Red and yellow bell pepper sauteed in butter: 20 gm
- Mix mashed potatoes, salt and flour lightly to avoid developing gluten - Roll the dough and cut into small pieces - Put it into boiling water - Remove as the pieces start floating
Method (for white sauce) - In a pan take some butter, add flour to it and roast - Add milk to the flour mix and stir till it thickens to form a velvety sauce - Add salt, pepper, saffron and sauteed vegetables in the sauce - Add gnocchi - Garnish with parmesan crisps and serve
