Russian woman living in Bengaluru surprises Indian nanny with her first-ever birthday cake. 'So simple for us but big gestures for them,' Internet says

In a similar display of affection, a Russian woman, Yana, living in Bengaluru, recently shared a heartwarming video on her Instagram handle, making the internet emotional. The clip showed Yana celebrating the 40th birthday of an Indian nanny who works at her home and takes care of her young daughter. What made the gesture special was that the nanny never had a birthday cake until this day.

The video opened to Yana decorating the birthday cake with candles, featuring the number 40. Soon after, the doorbell rang, and Yana’s daughter excitedly looked at her mother, waiting for her instruction to open the door.

As soon as the domestic help walked in through the door, Yana sang her the Happy Birthday song, bringing the cake to her. The emotional nanny could not hold back her tears and broke down at the heartwarming surprise. She gave Yana a warm hug before wiping her eyes with her dupatta.


The house help then blew out the candles and once again hugged Yana and her daughter, overwhelmed with happiness. She even clicked pictures of her first-ever birthday cake with the happiest smile. As per a report by the Hindustan Times, the nanny, named Savitha, has been working for the family for nearly 2 years.
