Russell Brand to visit India without wife Katy Perry this time
This isn’t the actor’s first visit; he married pop star Katy Perry at Ranthambore in 2010, after proposing to her outside the Taj Mahal in 2009.

But, now the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star will be here on work, not love, as he will be headlining the Chuckle Festival taking place across Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai on June 26, 27 and 28. In Bengaluru and Mumbai, Indian comic Vir Das will be opening for the English comedian.
To give us a taste of the comedy expected, Brand says, “I love India very much. I am excited to be coming to the country. I have so many happy memories here. Plus I got married here. You see the kind of jokes that have made me a successful comedian and kept me single.
I am honoured to be performing at the Chuckle Festival. Namaste.” Tickets for the Integrated Network Solution event are priced at `3,000 per head onwards and are available on meraevents.com.
