Not long ago, Harleen N dropped a video on Instagram, sharing her daily expense breakdown of working from cafés in Bengaluru. Surprisingly, the cost was much cheaper, coupled with additional perks, than either WFH or WFO setups.

In the post, Harleen offered viewers a detailed breakdown of her day, beginning with her commute to the café. She highlighted how her routine begins with an auto ride costing around Rs 85 from home to the café. She further pointed out her preference for cafe spaces where she finds a comfortable work environment with air conditioning, calm surroundings, and soft background music. Harleen also noted that AC remains the biggest perk during long hours.
The video went on to show Harleen spending the day working on her laptop, taking breaks, ordering food and coffee, and enjoying the relaxed café atmosphere. She explained that her food and beverage expenses came to around Rs 700, with additional productive work sessions interspersed throughout the day. By the end of her café work routine, she estimated her total daily cost at approximately Rs 800.
