Rs 4.6 crore Rolls-Royce Wraith finds a buyer in Chennai
The luxury carmaker announced the official launch of the “most powerful Rolls-Royce motor car ever made” in India last August. More than a year later, the first Wraith will find its way to a Chennai-based mystery buyer’s home before curtains are drawn on 2014. The car was originally supposed to be delivered end of November but the delivery date has been pushed.

Meanwhile, a Rolls-Royce Wraith sits pretty in the car’s showroom in Mumbai. Yet, the mystery buyer awaits as these cars are bespoke models, built to custompicked specifications. Potential buyers can hand over the cheque and drive it home. For anyone looking for the ‘first Wraith owner tag’, it’s up for grabs.

For trivia aficionados: Co-incidentally, the first Rolls-Royce Ghost was also bought by another Chennai resident, real estate developer Balsingh George in the first half of 2013. Going further back, George was also the first person to drive home the Mercedes Benz SL600. Any bets, if this will be a third-time first case?
