Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has taken the box office by storm. Directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, the film hit cinemas on March 19. In just six days, it is already inching towards the Rs 600 crore mark in India. Amid its massive commercial success, a heartfelt real-life story connected to the film has gone viral. A small actor from the film, who also works as an auto-rickshaw driver in real life, recently opened up about not being able to watch the movie in theatres.

Why Dhurandhar 2's auto driver couldn't watch the movie?

Despite appearing briefly in the film’s final scene, he revealed that he hasn’t yet seen his own moment on the big screen. In a candid interaction with a Punjab media portal, the driver shared that ticket prices are currently around Rs 500 per person. Given the recent release and high demand, he said he could not afford to spend that amount right away. When asked if his children were eager to watch the film, he admitted that they were excited, especially knowing that their father appears in it.

However, he explained the reality of his situation. According to TOI report, with a family of five, the total cost of tickets would come to around Rs 2,500. He said, "But I told them that there are five of us, and it would cost Rs 2,500 in total. Rs 2,500 is what we manage to save in a month, so I didn’t take them. I told them we will wait a bit and watch it later."

His response, shared without complaint, has struck a chord with many on social media. Several users have reacted to the story, calling it a reminder of the everyday financial decisions many families make.
