'RRR' team in celebration mode: SS Rajamouli says he 'never dreamt of an Oscar', NTR Jr & Ram Charan congratulate MM Keeravani
'RRR' has officially entered the race for the Academy Awards with the hit track 'Naatu Naatu'.

'Naatu Naatu is composed by MM Keeravani, and singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava lend their voices to high energy rendition. Prem Rakshith has choreographed the song, with lyrics by Chandrabose.
The film-maker took to Twitter to pen a long appreciation note. He said that he is doing 'Naatu Naatu' more vigorously than the movie's actors Ram Charan and NTR Jr.
His tweet read, "My peddanna got an Oscar nomination for his song in my film ... I can't ask for more ... I am currently doing Naatu Naatu more vigorously than Tarak and Charan...Chandra Bose garu.. Congratulations... Oscar stage meedha mana paata...thank you...Prem master, your contribution to the song is invaluable... my personal Oscar goes to you..Bhairava's BGM is what inspired me to go ahead with ava's Naatu Naatu, after hesitating for a long time.Love you Bhairi babu..baland Super energetic vocals by Rahul and Bhairava enhanced the song.."

In another post, the 'Baahubali' helmer also congratulated the makers of 'All That Breathes' and 'The Elephant Whisperers'. "This is the first time India has had so many nominations. I believe this is just the beginning," he wrote in his tweet.
Besides 'RRR', the documentary 'All That Breathes' and the Tamil short documentary 'The Elephant Whisperers' also bagged Oscar 2023 nominations in 'Documentary Feature Film' and 'Documentary Short Film' categories, respectively.

'RRR' is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters - Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and NTR Jr, respectively. The movie stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran. It collected over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide.
'Jai Ho' from the 2008 British film 'Slumdog Millionaire', directed by Danny Boyle, was the first Hindi song to win an Academy Award in the Best Original Score and Original Song categories. It was composed by AR Rahman and penned by Gulzar.
After nominations for 23 categories of the 95th Academy Awards, the Oscars ceremony will take place on March 12.
