Royal diaries! Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle in India on philanthrophic visit

Looks like actress Meghan Markle, who is dating Prince Harry, is prepping to take her place in the royal family, doing what most princesses do— social work. The actress was in Mumbai recently for a project on women’s health with an NGO. And it wasn’t just a customary visit but one where she actively participated.

A spokesperson from the NGO said, “Markle worked in the slums of Delhi and Mumbai for a week, learning challenges the women who live there face.” The British actress also spent some time with the kids, putting mehendi on her right hand and telling them about how she prepared for her trip for almost a year.

While Markle made a quick visit this time, she has promised to be back for longer to carry forward her work.
