Rory McIlroy’s new birdie?

On December 31, 2013, Rory McIlroy posted a photo of a sparkling ring on Instagram announcing his engagement to girlfriend and tennis player Caroline Wozniacki.

A year later, on December 31, 2014, McIlroy — having broken up with Wozniacki days after their wedding invitations went out — posted a photograph of a champagne bottle and two glasses at a luxury hotel. Keeping the 25-year-old golfing ace company is said to be Erica Stoll, the 27-year-old PGA employee, who McIlroy has been dating for three months.

Stoll met McIlroy in September 2012 when she rescued him from oversleeping and subsequently missing the Ryder Cup Miracle at Medinah. The PGA Player of the Year 2014 has, since his break-up with Wozniacki in May 2014, been romantically linked with Irish model Nadia Forde, receptionist Sasha Gale, South African model Shashi Naidoo and now Stoll. His love life has certainly been Roring.
