Not only his fans but several members from the sports fraternity also asked Sharma if he was okay.
Cricketer Rohit Sharma, who recently led India to victory against Sri Lanka, shocked his fans on Twitter with a series of 'bizarre' tweets, which made netizens wonder if his official handle was hacked.

The tweets which were posted between 11 am to 4 pm on Tuesday, made no sense.

"I love coin tosses…especially when they end up in my belly!" read the first tweet by Sharma, followed by "Bzz….! Did you know? Buzzing beehives make for great boxing bags!" and "Cricket balls are edible…right?".

Now, who wouldn't question whether these tweets were actually made by the Team India cricketer or someone indeed hacked into his account and took advantage of the situation. Right? That's exactly what fans speculated on Twitter as well.

However, on Wednesday, Sharma took the matter in his own hands and stepped up to clear the air revolving around his tweets and speculations of account hacking.

Apparently, it was his dog Magic who had hacked Sharma's account and caused all the trouble. Who would have thought?!

"Sorry guys! My dog, Magic, took over my handle. Lil' troublemaker! Sometimes good dogs can make bad decisions. But I sleep a little better knowing @Future_Generali Dog Health Cover has him covered. Make sure your buddy is protected too." Sharma clarified on Twitter revealing that the previous tweets were part of an advertisement. Well played, sir!

He didn't even fool his fans but several members from the sports fraternity also asked Sharma what the matter was and if he was okay. Cricket stars such as Yuzvendra Chahal and Harsha Bhogle replied to the 34-year-old's tweets asking about his well-being.

"Uh…What? All okay Captain? Can’t make heads or tails of this," Bhogle had asked Sharma.

While Chahal asked his 'brother' if all was well.
