Rohit Sharma turns 35: Gautam Gambhir reveals birthday boy gave him nightmares; Yuzvendra Chahal found an elder brother in MI captain

As Mumbai Indians recover from a string of losses at the IPL, their captain, Rohit Sharma rang in his 35th birthday, with several colleagues of the cricket community sending their wishes for him.

Virat Kohli shared a photo of him hugging Sharma on his Instagram, and captioned the photo, "Happy Birthday Rohit Sharma, God Bless."

Fast bowler of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Umran Malik, was one of the first ones to wish Sharma on the special day. The 22-year-old tweeted, "Happy Birthday @ImRo45 Bhai God Bless you."
Sharma's Mumbai Indians team-mate Tilak Verma too took to the social media to wish his captain on his birthday, and called Sharma his inspiration.

Veteran cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, also wished Sharma and hoped that the skipper has a great year ahead.
Lucknow Super Giants skipper and India vice-captain KL Rahul sent birthday greetings for the 'hitman'.
Former cricketer Gautam Gambhir also sent some birthday cheers for Sharma, and called him the only batsman who has given nightmares to him as a captain.
Yuzvendra Chahal, who is currently the highest wicket-taker in IPL 2022 called Sharma his brother and wished him a lifetime of 'amazing games, and good health.'
BCCI also showered blessing on the ace cricketer, and recounted his achievements.While Mumbai Indians are out of the playoffs race, Sharma too has performed poorly with a score of just 153 runs at an average and strike rate of 19.12 and 126.44 respectively.
