Designer Rohit Bal hosted an intimate Kashmiri wazwan (ceremonial feast) for his close friends, home-cooked by his personal chef, Phoolchand, in New Delhi recently.

Feasting on the scrumptious food were Arjun Rampal, Mala Singh and Nikhil Khanna, among others.

Between spoonfuls of Mutton Yakhni and Rogan Josh, the designer, plagued by plagiarism, said that he has patented and copyrighted his entire collection — a first for any designer.

And as conversations revolved around craftsmen and design, plates were wiped clean, with guests doffing their hats to Phoolchand's cooking.
