Rohan Bopanna makes most of the lockdown, turns baker for family

Rohan Bopanna is making the most of his time at home with his family.
Wimbledon stands cancelled for the year and no one knows when tennis will resume. Indian tennis player and doubles star Rohan Bopanna is home in Coorg at his coffee estate with his family.

The 40-year-old is spending time with his daughter, Tridha who is 10 months. Besides his wife, daughter and parents, Bopanna's sister, brother-in-law and niece are also with him at the estate.



A few days ago, he shared a video baking eclairs on social media. The mixed doubles French Open champion has shared his cooking experience earlier as well from his stays during Grand Slams.

The tennis player has made garlic bread, breakfast and snacks which he has shared on his social media accounts.


While baking, Bopanna made sure to have some social distancing with his eclairs to give an important message. His mother who also featured in his video shared that he has been baking since the last 30 years. The tennis player used to help her with her chocolate cakes, she said.

Bopanna added custard and chocolate sauce to the eclairs before tasting it and giving himself a pat on the back. "It's a recipe my sister gave me and I tried out," he added.
