Rihanna’s sheer audacity

Her songs are slathered with sexuality. Look at some of their names — ‘California King Bed’, ‘Pour it Up’, ‘S&M’. Her clothes are equally racy.

And at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in New York, Rihanna upped the heat bar. She wore a sheer dress made with 216,000 Swarovski crystals.

Except for neutral colour underwear, her toned dusky body was there for all to gawk at. The outfit set tongues wagging.

Stylist Mel Ottenberg said, “It’s so naked, I don’t know if it’s shocking.”

Women say her “smokey eye makeup” was flawless. But who’s looking at the eyes?.
