Rihanna to become new face for Dior

LOS ANGELES: R&B star Rihanna has been named the new face of elite French fashion house Dior.

The 27-year-old 'Diamonds' hitmaker is expected to star in the latest video and print ad of Secret Garden campaign for the famous brand, reported Women's Wear Daily.

The new video and print ad featuring Rihanna is reportedly been filmed this week in Versailles, Paris by photographer Steven Klein. They are scheduled to debut this spring. It will allegedly mark the first time that a black model fronts one of Dior's campaigns.

Rihanna was recently named a creative director at Puma. She also has modeled for top brands like Balmain and Armani.

At Dior, she joins the rank of celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence and Natalie Portman who have become a face for the French fashion line.
